By downloading or using the Porto Bus application (the "application"), these terms will automatically apply to you, therefore, you should make sure to read them carefully before using the application.
It is expressly forbidden to modify the application or our trademarks in any way. You are not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the application, nor should you attempt to translate the application into other languages or make derivative versions.
We are committed to ensuring that the application is as useful and efficient as possible. Therefore, we reserve the right to make changes to the application, or to suspend or discontinue any part of it, at any time and for any reason.
The application is free to download and use. There are no accounts, no subscriptions and no in-app purchases; the application is funded by advertising shown inside it. How advertising data is handled, and how you can change your advertising choices, is described in our Privacy Policy.
The application processes data as described in our Privacy Policy. It is your responsibility to keep your phone and access to the application secure. Therefore, we are not responsible for a malfunction of the service if the device has been rooted, a process that consists of removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device.
Certain functions of the application require an active internet connection. We cannot guarantee that the application will function properly if you do not have access to a Wi-Fi network and/or have no mobile data remaining.
If you use the application outside of an area with a Wi-Fi connection, you should remember that the terms of the agreement with your mobile network provider will still apply. Consequently, you may be charged for the cost of data used during the connection while accessing the application, or other third-party charges. By using the application, you accept responsibility for such charges, including charges if you use the application outside your territory without deactivating data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you are using the application, please be aware that we assume you have received permission from the bill payer to use the application.
Likewise, we are not responsible for the conditions under which you use the application. For example, if your device is not charged and you cannot turn it on to use the application.
Timetables, routes, stops, real-time arrivals and service notices shown in the application are derived from information published by public transport operators and other third-party sources. We do not control that information and we cannot guarantee that it is accurate, complete or current: schedules change, published data can be wrong or out of date, real-time predictions can be delayed or unavailable, and services can be diverted or cancelled without that being reflected in the application. The application is provided for information purposes only and is not a substitute for the operator's own information.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any transport operator or public authority. Operator, network and line names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the services described.
Although we strive to ensure that the application is updated and functions correctly at all times, we accept no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, that you experience as a result of relying entirely on this application.
The application is currently available on Android and iOS. The system requirements, and for any additional system to which we decide to extend the availability of the application, may change, and you will need to download updates if you want to continue using it. We do not promise that we will always update the application so that it remains relevant to you, or so that it works with the version of Android or iOS you have installed on your device.
In the event that we decide to withdraw the application from the application store, we may do so at any time without prior notice and, unless we indicate otherwise, the rights and licenses granted to you in these conditions will terminate; you must stop using the application and (if necessary) delete it from your device.
